Olhausen Pool Tables: Models, Prices and Warranty

Olhausen doesn't publish prices, so we read two dealers' websites today: starting prices for the core Olhausen models run about $3,550 to $5,700, a typical 8-foot configuration with options lands around $4,700 to $9,900, and the rustic and snooker tables at the top run past $16,000. Every table is built in Portland, Tennessee, carries Olhausen's own Accu-Fast cushions, and is sold only through local dealers, never on Amazon or Olhausen's own site.

This guide covers the current model lineup by collection, which sizes each comes in, what the warranty actually says, how buying through a dealer works, and what to check on a used Olhausen.

Quick answer: For most homes the best Olhausen is a Belmont or Americana: traditional styling, Accu-Fast cushions and dealer list prices that start just under $4,000. Players who want a pro-style table should look at the Grand Champion III in 7, 8 or 9 feet. Olhausen sells only through authorized dealers, and its lifetime warranty covers only the original buyer when a dealer installs the table.

Olhausen pool table prices

Olhausen's website has an "add to quote" button and a dealer finder, but no prices. These figures come from two Olhausen dealers' websites on October 15, 2026. The first column is a dealer's starting price (size not stated, so read it as the base configuration). The second shows specific tables another dealer had configured.

ModelStarting price (dealer 1)Configured example (dealer 2)

Youngstownn/a7 ft oak with drawer: $11,550
Railyardn/a9 ft hickory with drawer: $17,640
Innsbruckn/a10 ft snooker in espresso: $16,095

Two things jump out. Options move the price a lot: the Grand Champion III's starting figure and the configured 8-footer are more than $4,000 apart. And across the first dealer's 48 Olhausen listings, half (24) fell between $4,000 and $8,000, only 5 were under $4,000, and 8 were $12,000 or more. Neither dealer's listing says delivery and installation are included, so ask for an installed price. For the brand-level comparison with Brunswick and Diamond, see best pool table brands.

The models people ask about

Americana

Olhausen's traditional entry point, and unlike the other models we checked, it stops at 8 feet. It's built in tulip wood with Queen Anne legs and braided leather drop pockets. Outside dimensions are 87.5 x 48.5 inches for the 7-foot and 97.5 x 53.5 for the 8-foot. Standard finishes are matte traditional mahogany, matte fossil grey, matte original cherry and espresso, with matte black lacquer as a premium option. If you want a 9-footer, the Americana is out.

Belmont

Same starting price as the Americana at the dealer we checked, and the configured 8-foot we found ($4,665) was the least expensive 8-foot example we saw today. A good choice when you want a traditional table and an 8-foot size without spending Hampton money.

Grand Champion III

The tournament-collection table: black laminate, a plain rectangular frame, leg levelers, round aluminum sights, and no drawer option. It comes in 7, 8 and 9 feet (outside 91.5 x 52.5, 101.5 x 57.5 and 113.5 x 63.5 inches). This is the Olhausen for a league player who cares about play more than furniture. The Tournament Pro sits beside it in the same collection.

York

Maple, clean lines, wide block legs, in all three sizes. It has the deepest finish list we saw: six standard finishes, eight premium ones and a select matte white lacquer. An under-frame drawer is optional on the 8- and 9-foot sizes only.

Encore, Laguna and Oceanside

All three are modern-collection tables offered from 7 to 9 feet. The Encore is maple with thick crisscrossed X legs. The Laguna is solid maple with slim, outward-angled legs joined by a metal stretcher. The Oceanside mixes maple and oak with wide rounded legs, and its optional drawer isn't offered on the 7-foot.

Youngstown

A rustic-collection oak table with a pedestal base, metal plates on the apron corners and a metal cross bar, in every size from 7 to 9 feet. The 8-foot is 100.5 x 56.5 inches outside. It's also one of the priciest: the configured 7-foot with a drawer we found was $11,550.

Olhausen sizes and dimensions

Most models come in 7, 8 and 9 feet; one dealer also lists 8.5-foot tables. Outside dimensions differ by model because rail styles differ, which matters for both your room and a cover:

Model7 ft8 ft9 ft
Americana87.5 x 48.5 in97.5 x 53.5 inNot offered
York (contemporary rail)90.5 x 51.5 in100.5 x 56.5 in112.5 x 62.5 in
Youngstown90.5 x 51.5 in100.5 x 56.5 in112.5 x 62.5 in
Grand Champion III91.5 x 52.5 in101.5 x 57.5 in113.5 x 63.5 in

Olhausen doesn't publish table weights or slate thickness on its model pages. Ask the dealer for both, especially the slate thickness, before you sign. To size the room, use our pool table sizes guide, and for why slate thickness matters, pool table slate thickness.

What's under every Olhausen

Olhausen describes the same core on every table. The slate is diamond-honed and inspected for flatness and bolt-hole placement. The frame uses what Olhausen calls the Uniliner, which it says supports the slate level and resists wood movement, and the rails use T-nut construction to avoid bent or cross-threaded bolts. Cushions are Accu-Fast, Olhausen's own natural gum rubber, and the company says its wood comes from slow-growth Northeastern US trees. Those are manufacturer claims; we haven't seen independent test data.

The Accu-Fast name confuses some used buyers. It's a cushion name, not a model, so a listing for an "Olhausen Accu-Fast pool table" is usually just an Olhausen, priced like any other.

Olhausen started in 1972, when brothers Butch and Don Olhausen were moving and re-covering tables in California and delivering for a small San Diego maker. They bought that maker in 1973 for $1,000 plus a note on the inventory. It built about 35 tables a year then. Today Olhausen says it sells almost 30,000 a year from a 250,000-square-foot factory in Portland, Tennessee, and is still family owned.

The warranty, line by line

Olhausen's lifetime warranty is better than most on one point and stricter than most on another.

  • Who: the initial purchaser who bought from Olhausen or an authorized dealer. It's non-transferable.
  • Covered: parts proven defective in material or workmanship, including Accu-Fast cushions. Olhausen or the dealer pays the labor to swap a defective part.
  • Shipping: after the first year you pay to ship most defective parts, but Olhausen pays all shipping on approved Accu-Fast cushion claims.
  • Not covered: cloth, pockets, non-Accu-Fast cushions, commercial or outdoor use, and damage from accidents or natural disasters.
  • Void if: anyone but Olhausen or an authorized dealer installs or services the table. Using a regular moving company to relocate it also voids the warranty.

That last point matters when you move house. Budget for a dealer move, or accept that the warranty ends when the movers pick up the slate.

How to buy an Olhausen

  1. Find dealers near you with the dealer locator on olhausenbilliards.com. You can't check out on Olhausen's site, and at least one large dealer says manufacturer guidelines stop it from selling Olhausens through its website at all.
  2. Pick the model and size in the showroom, then the wood, finish, sights, cloth and options (drawer, ball return). Each of these changes the quote.
  3. Ask for an installed price in writing: table, delivery, installation, cloth and any accessory package. One dealer says packages usually include two cues, balls, a rack, chalk and a brush.
  4. Ask the slate thickness and lead time. One dealer quotes 3 to 6 weeks for delivery, longer for custom orders.
  5. Get quotes from two dealers if you can. Compare the whole package, not the table line.

Buying a used Olhausen

A used Olhausen can be a very good buy, with one big difference from new: the warranty doesn't come with it. Retailer guides we read put used Olhausens 5 to 15 years old at roughly $2,000 to $6,000 and tables over 20 years old at about $1,200 to $3,500, with project tables lower. Our used pool table prices guide covers valuing one in detail.

Before you pay:

  • Find the nameplate and model name, and ask for the original receipt. It helps you price the table and confirms it's an Olhausen.
  • Check the slate seams and bolt holes for cracks and chips, and ask the thickness.
  • Bank balls off every cushion. Accu-Fast rubber is covered for the original owner only, so dead rails on a used table are your bill.
  • Roll balls into each pocket and listen. Some forum posters ask about pocket rattle on older Olhausens; check it yourself rather than taking anyone's word.
  • Look for solid wood on the legs and aprons, and swelling or water damage near the floor.
  • Price in disassembly, moving, releveling and new cloth. Taking an Olhausen apart is a slate-table job for a pro; see how to move a pool table and how to buy a used pool table.

For parts on a table you own, start with an Olhausen dealer. The warranty process runs through dealers, and they can order parts by model.

Which Olhausen to buy

Buy a Belmont if you want a traditional 8-foot Olhausen at the lowest configured price we found. Buy the Americana if you like its Queen Anne look and 8 feet is the most you need. If you play seriously, get the Grand Champion III in the biggest size your room fits. Pay for York, Hampton or the rustic tables only if the table has to be furniture first, because the slate and cushions under them are the same Olhausen core.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an Olhausen pool table cost?

Dealer starting prices we read today run from about $3,550 (Sheraton laminate) to $5,700 (Monarch), and configured 8-foot tables ran about $4,700 to $9,900. Rustic and snooker models went past $16,000. Delivery and installation are usually quoted separately.

Can I buy an Olhausen pool table online?

Not from Olhausen, and not from Amazon. Olhausen sells through authorized dealers, and its warranty requires dealer installation. Some dealer websites show prices but take orders by phone or in the store.

Where are Olhausen pool tables made?

In Portland, Tennessee. Olhausen says its factory there covers 250,000 square feet and that the company is still family owned.

What is an Olhausen Accu-Fast pool table?

Accu-Fast is the name of Olhausen's natural gum rubber cushions, which appear on most of its tables. A table listed as an Olhausen Accu-Fast is an Olhausen; value it by model, size and condition.

Does the Olhausen warranty transfer if I buy used?

No. It covers only the initial purchaser, and it's void if the table is installed, serviced or moved by anyone other than Olhausen or an authorized dealer.

What sizes do Olhausen pool tables come in?

Most models come in 7, 8 and 9 feet, and one dealer also lists 8.5-foot tables. The Americana stops at 8 feet. The Innsbruck is also sold as a 10-foot snooker table.

How much does an Olhausen pool table weigh?

Olhausen doesn't publish weights on its model pages. Ask the dealer, and assume any slate table needs professional disassembly to move.

How much is a used Olhausen worth?

Retailer guides put tables 5 to 15 years old at about $2,000 to $6,000 and tables over 20 years old at about $1,200 to $3,500. Condition of the slate, cushions and wood moves the number most.
